CAROLINE ALBA (Hope Cladwell) is a new resident of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and a part-time Data Analytics graduate student at Temple University. Most recently, she played Kathy in 9 to 5: The Musical at Jenkintown Community Theater and sang in the Page to Stage Cabaret at Narberth Community Theater. This is Caroline’s first show with ETC, and her first lead role in a full-length musical. She would like to thank her family, friends, cast mates, and coworkers for their support and hopes that everyone enjoys the show!

ALEX ATIYEH (Bobby Strong) is experiencing his first production with ETC and he is very excited to share the stage with this community. He recently was Billy Cane in JMT’s production of Bright Star and Buddy the Elf in Willow Manor’s production of Elf, the Musical. Since moving to the area and graduating two years ago, Alex is grateful he has found places to keep his passion for musical theatre alive. He would like to thank his friends, family, and fiancé for all of their love and support in what he does, and hopes you enjoy the show!

BRANDON BELL (UGC Staff) is eagerly returning for his second show with ETC and is excited to be part of the Urinetown cast. He is grateful for the unwavering support of his family and friends. In a significant move, he will relocate to New York City, to hone his craft and pursue his passion for theater while studying acting.

HAYLEY BIRNBAUM (Poor Ensemble) is excited to be making her Everybody’s Theater Company debut! She is a current grad student at Temple University to continue her studies in directing and performing. She recently moved to PA from Virginia, where she earned her BA in Theatre and a Minor in Education from Old Dominion University in 2021. In VA, she performed, choreographed, and taught theatre. Her most recent acting credentials include She Loves Me (Customer 1/Stephani), A Charlie Brown Christmas (Sally Brown), Cabaret (Helga), and Pippin (Ensemble). Hayley has loved getting to perform and work with this talented group and hopes to work with them again!

SHIRLEY BONANNI (Dr. Billeaux) is excited to be back with ETC for Urinetown! She was previously in their virtual cabaret, Songs We Sing in the Shower, in 2021. Most recently, she was in A Cozy Cabaret at Methaction Community Theater. Shirley was also in the ensembles of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Matilda at MCT. Shirley would like to thank the incredibly talented and welcoming cast and crew for this wonderful experience! She is grateful for the encouragement from her family, especially Fabian, her husband, and their children, Logan and Bella.  Also, special thanks to friends, coworkers, and vocal coach, Heidi Hayes, for all of their continued support!

ZORA BRYANT (Poor Ensemble) was in her first show in 1st grade, when she fell in love with theater. She did tech in high school and is now getting back into theater after graduating in 2021. Her favorite performance was in The Lion King.

EMMA BURKE (Cop/UGC Staff) is a recent college graduate who is excited to be doing her first show with ETC! She has been involved in theater both onstage and backstage since middle school, and some of her favorite past productions include Everybody, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Tempest. Outside of theater, she is a writer currently working on various projects, from scripts to short fiction.

NOELLE JOY FIORENTINO (Penelope Pennywise) is excited to return to ETC with this talented cast and crew after making her debut in 2021 as Eve in Children of Eden. Other favorite credits include Doralee in 9 to 5 the Musical, (Jenkintown Music Theatre), Petra in A Little Night Music (Playcrafters of Skippack), Daniela in In the Heights (Music Mountain Theatre), Miss Sandra in All Shook Up (MMT), Sleeping Beauty in Disenchanted (Players Club of Swarthmore) and Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein (Town & Country Players). Catch her next as Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q opening in June at Music Mountain Theatre! Much love to her family and friends for their constant support.

DAN GUEST (Senator Fipp) is in his first musical with ETC but has been in many musicals over the last 20 years. Dan was last seen at the Barn in She Loves Me and has been in musicals such as The Music Man, Annie Get Your Gun, The Producers, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, and The Addams Family Musical. Dan is happy to share the stage again with many friends from past shows at Chestnut Hill College, The Barn and Temple Sinai. Dan sends a special shoutout to wife Kate who ignited the music in him.

KATE GUEST (Josephine Strong) Kate is grateful for this talented cast and the passionate crew and staff of ETC. (It’s a Privilege to Be in Urinetown!) Kate has been appearing in regional community theater productions since 1999. Favorite roles include Hope Harcourt, Tess (Crazy for You), Annie Oakley, Aunt Sheila/Mimsy and ensemble characters in She Loves Me, The Producers, The Addams Family Musical and Footloose. She is thrilled to be in a show that features climate change/drought impacts and highlights the importance of bladder control. Many thanks to Dan for your love and support on and off stage.

MATTHEW HOGELAND (Billy Boy Bill) graduated from Bloomsburg University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Matthew’s most recent roles include Robertson Ay in Mary Poppins with Beth Sholom & AJ Players and Ram Sweeney in Heathers with Playcrafters of Skippack. While participating in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (Region 2), Matthew received a Commendation for Dramaturgical Voice for The Astronots by Mora V. Harris in November of 2023, and a Certificate of Excellence in Stage Management for A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2022.

SAMMI KUHL (Little Becky Two Shoes/Cop) is overjoyed at the opportunity to pay to pee! Most recently, Sammi has been directing and choreographing for community and youth theatre, but now she’s looking for any opportunity to get back onstage and what better team to join than the dynamic duo she’s grown so fond of? Debbie and MeLinda have been telling Sammi where to go and what to do onstage for so long, this is the only homecoming that feels right! Performance credits include: The Muny, Bristol Riverside Theatre, The Media Theatre and Ocean City Theatre Company. BFA Musical Theatre, Jazz dance minor, Point Park University. Love to her family and Chris.

THOMAS LANE (Hot Blades Harry/Cop) is a recent graduate of Temple University, with a BS in Statistics, a minor in Theater, and a Certificate in Acting. Thomas started doing musicals with his high school in Hershey, with his first production actually being Urinetown itself! Recent credits include Rock of Ages and The Wedding Singer with the Hershey Area Playhouse. This is Thomas’ first show with Everybody’s Theater Company and he’s excited to perform with a new and talented group! He would like to thank his parents, family, girlfriend, and other friends for their constant support.

SARAH LEAKEY (Soupy Sue/Cop) has been a part of Everybody’s Theater Company since 2016 and is an alumni of UDHS. Sarah serves as Vice President on the ETC board. She loves to perform at other theaters in the area, as well as helping in multiple productions for ETC throughout the year. When she is not doing theater in her free time she loves photography and works as a preschool teacher for KinderCare in Hatboro.

KERLIN PYUN (Cop/Poor) is an actor-singer from New York City. She recently graduated with a BA in Theater (concentration in Acting) and a Certificate in Classical Voice from Temple University. Recent credits include Two Gentlemen of Verona (Shakespeare in Clark Park), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (U/S) (Arden Theater Co.), Everybody (Temple Theaters), and Once On This Island (Temple Theaters). She wants to thank her friends and family for their support and encouragement.

LEE SCHLESINGER (Old Man Strong) is making his second appearance with ETC, after Freaky Friday in 2019. He has also appeared in, worked on, produced, and directed shows in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Texas. He dedicates this performance to his own little pishers Sam, Nathan, and Willow.

EVAN SCHWARTZ (Caldwell B. Cladwell) Evan’s parents instilled his love of theatre and music by taking him to Broadway shows before he even started kindergarten, and he’s grateful his sons share that love. Some favorite roles: Buddy Fidler (City of Angels), Man in Chair (The Drowsy Chaperone), Brother Jeremiah (Something Rotten!), Otto Frank (The Diary of Anne Frank), Billy Crocker (Anything Goes), This is Evan’s ETC debut, but his second time visiting Urinetown (Officer Barrel, JMT). When not keeping the water in the ground on stage, Evan keeps books on the shelves as owner of Open Book Bookstore in Elkins Park.

GINA SCHWOERER (Little Sally) is happy to be performing again with ETC! Previously with ETC, she appeared in Sweeney Todd, their yearly cabarets, and A Christmas Carol Radio Play. Some favorite past roles include Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme in Assassins, Sandy Cheeks in The SpongeBob Musical, Deb in Ordinary Days, Crissy in Hair, and – in two different productions – Lucy and Sally in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. MARK SHELLENBERGER (Mr. McQueen) is very excited to be a part of Urinetown with ETC. He recently worked with ETC as Clarence in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. His previous credit is as Percival Browne in a high school presentation of The Boy Friend. Mark spends most days chained to a desk but would rather be working in the yard. He’d like to thank his family for their support during this new adventure.

NICK SMITH (Tiny Tom/Cop) has done some theatre back in elementary school, and Urinetown is the show that will get him back onto his feet with acting after graduating high school! Other than theatre, he does simple game development and has a very creative mind for storytelling and music.

JOSHUA STEIN (Robby the Stockfish/Cop) is thrilled to be back with ETC, having previously appeared in Freaky Friday (Mike). Locally, Joshua has also appeared as the title role in Willy Wonka, Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cogsworth in Beauty & the Beast and Albert in Bye, Bye Birdie!

MELISSA STEINER (Mrs. Millineum) is thrilled to be back performing in her second musical with ETC. Favorite roles include Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the Fairy Godmother in Descendants: the Musical, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Danielle in Freaky Friday and Mrs. McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie! When not performing Missy runs the accounting department for a manufacturing company in Montgomeryville.

SHERYL TETRO (UGC Staff) This is Sheryl’s first show with ETC and she is delighted to work with such a talented cast and production staff! Some of her favorite roles in other musicals include Mrs. Brill in Mary Poppins, Gad in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn in The Music Man and the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical. She is grateful to her daughters, Arielle and Rachel, as well as the rest of her family and friends for their love and encouragement. She lovingly recalls the unwavering support of her biggest fan, Avishai Tetro, of blessed memory.

REBECCA THORNBURGH (UGC Staff) Rebecca is super thrilled to be with ETC for a third time and for her first-ever musical theater performance, Rebecca Thornburgh’s singing debut was at age four with the Cherub Choir. Her most recent dramatic role was Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (she was 12). In more recent days Rebecca has sung classic masterworks and edgy experimental commissions with Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia, and lots of blues and ballads as lead singer with Reckless Amateurs. Of course she still sings with the church choir. Rebecca writes and illustrates books (and other stuff) for kids.

BECKY TOLL (Poor Ensemble) is glad to be back on stage participating in Urinetown. She participates in ETC’s yearly cabarets, and loves to support Everybody’s Theater Company, especially by working the front of house. Becky has just completed her Master’s Degree, and happily continues her profession as a teacher. After teaching first graders all day, Becky likes to relax with her cute dog Bagel.

DAN TOLL (Officer Barrel) is a not-so-recent graduate of Upper Dublin High School and Drexel University living in Philadelphia. Previous shows include The Wedding Singer, Refer Madness, Rent, Urinetown, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Dan dedicates this performance to his one true love… Wawa.

MARK URMSON (Officer Lockstock) is very excited to be back on stage with ETC, where he was last seen playing Noah in Children of Eden. GEORGETTE HAMATY (Producer) is grateful to the wonderful cast, production team, and crew for their dedication and talent. This is her fourth co-production this season as a member of the ETC Board and she will produce A Midsummer Night’s Dream opening in July. Georgette’s ETC performance credits include Mel (Gamma Girls), Marilyn (Kentucky Lemonade) and Young Frankenstein. At Player’s Club of Swarthmore, she performed the roles of Princess Badroulbadour (Disenchanted) and Sister Mary Theresa (Sister Act). She appeared as Bellomy (The Fantasticks) at Old Academy. Georgette is a frequent cabaret performer. Love to George, Alexandra, and Finn.

RACHAEL HEANEY (Assistant Stage Manager) Rachael is thrilled to be part of Everybody’s Theater Company for the first time as assistant stage manager. Rachael has been participating in shows since 2005. Past productions include Willy Wonka, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Anything Goes, and Once Upon a Mattress. Rachael has performed with Shaare Shamayim and her favorite role was the Artful Dodger in Oliver!. When Rachael isn’t onstage or backstage, she is full time preschool teacher for The Malvern School. Some of Rachael’s hobbies include hanging out with friends, traveling, and shopping. Rachael wants to thank the cast and crew including family and friends for their support!

MELINDA TATUM KAISER (Director/Choreographer/Lighting Designer) has been an independent choreographer, lighting designer, director and educator for many years, working with students of all ages as well as community theatre groups all around the region. She holds a BFA in Studio Art and a BS in Dance from the University of Tennessee, an MFA in choreography from Temple University and an MS focused in International Education from SUNY Buffalo. After teaching dance and theatre for seven years in Shanghai, China, MeLinda returned to PA in 2016 and currently teaches Art Appreciation at Eastern University. She also works as the choreographer and business manager for the 7/8 musical at Sandy Run Middle School and proudly serves on the ETC Board. MeLinda is excited to share this wacky musical with audiences and is grateful to be working with such an amazing cast and a dedicated and talented team!

MICHELLE GROW SIROTA (Props Master) has worn many important hats over the years with ETC since its inception: from choreographing, to performing, to being the Board Secretary. Here in Urinetown, Michelle is excited to make her debut as the Props Master. Past notable roles included Chava in Fiddler on the Roof and singing with her daughter, Leah, in a cabaret. ETC has been a second home for Michelle and her whole family.

DEBBIE THOMPSON (Director/Producer) began her career as a professional actor and cabaret performer. After moving from Florida in 1990, she began directing the Sandy Run Middle School musical productions. Four years later, she also began directing the Upper Dublin High School’s (UDHS) spring musical. In 1995, Debbie became the UDHS’s Drama Club Advisor and a year later, she joined the UDHS faculty teaching theater and communication classes as well as directing and producing a three-production season. In 2004, Debbie was awarded the UD School District Medal for Outstanding Educator of the Year in recognition for her work as a theatre teacher, director, and educational theatre advocate. Debbie has since retired from teaching. She was one of the founding members of the UD Adult Community Players and created the award-winning UD Township Parks and Recreation Summer Stage Program. She, along with David Toll and greatly supported by their spouses Jon Thompson & Sue Ann Eckell, founded the UD community-based Everybody’s Theater Company (ETC), now in its 10th season. Debbie’s daughter Logan Pring, who works with her on many of the productions, her son Taylor, their families, and five grandchildren all reside in Upper Dublin.

DAVID TOLL  (Producer/Set & Sound Designer)  co-founded Everybody’s Theater Company with Debbie Thompson in 2014 to bring community theater back to the audiences of Upper Dublin and the surrounding areas. He has been involved with hundreds of shows throughout the Delaware Valley as either sound designer, light designer, scenic designer, producer, director, or actor. Much love to his family for all their support.
