…It’s Dottie Mouth’s 100th birthday at the Sin City Rest Home, where every day is a gamble. Guests are celebrating Dottie’s birthday and reminiscing about her colorful past. At the height of the festivities, Dottie “cashes out” under suspicious circumstances. It’s up to our detective to unearth the truth in this twisted tale of ambition, love, revenge, and MURDER…

Murder at the Sin City Rest Home was custom-written for Everybody’s Theater Company by Julie Zaffarano, tailored to the talents of adult performers.

If needed, callbacks will immediately follow auditions.

Auditions for ETC’s Murder at the Sin City Rest Home are open to adults ages 21 and up of any ethnicity.

Performances of Murder at the Sin City Rest Home are on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.

CAST OF CHARACTERS
Fannie Pak –  F/30s. Sin City Rest Home harried Activities Director. Southern accent.
Annie Day – F/50s-60s. One of the not-so-famous singing “Day Sisters.”
May Day – F/50s-60s. One of the not-so-famous singing “Day Sisters.”
Holly Day – F/50s-60s. One of the not-so-famous singing “Day Sisters.”
Anita Drink – F/40s-70s. A lush. Former torch singer.
Mona Lott – F/60s- 90s. An unhappy resident.
Abby Normal – F/60-80s. Ima’s mother. As lost as last year’s Easter egg, but an amazing Wii bowler.
Ima Normal – F/30s-40s. Abby’s daughter. Would like Abby move to Sin City Rest Home.
Dottie Mouth – F/100. The birthday girl. One hundred years young today. Not the most loved person in the room.
Jess Fletcher –  F/40s-60s Mystery writer from Carrot Cove.
Helen Hywater Peace – F/90s. Married to Warren Peace. Former cheerleader.
Warren Peace – M/90s. Married to Helen. Former high school football star.
Jack Pot – M/50s-60s. Gambler. Can’t resist a bet.
Lou Pole – M/50s-60s Lawyer. Former Chipperdale.
Perry Docks –  M/50s-60s. Veterinarian. Former Chipperdale.
Justin Thyme – M/40s-60s. Elvis impersonator.

Everybody’s Theater Company is producing Disney’s Freaky Friday: A New Musical

Auditions are open for adults (18+) and high school students (entering grades 9-12).

Rehearsals are typically scheduled from 6:00PM to 10:00PM Monday-Thursday nights, with some additional Sunday afternoon/evening rehearsals.

Performances for Freaky Friday will be Wednesday, July 17; Thursday, July 18, and Friday, July 19.

There is no cost to audition. If cast, participants will need to become members of ETC for the 2019-2020 season.
