Everybody’s Theater Company is holding auditions for Frozen, the Musical, JR.
Performances are on Saturday, November 23, and Sunday, November 24.
We’re casting students from 4th through 12th grade (maximum age 18) for all parts in the show – older students will play adult roles. SEE CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS HERE.
Auditions begin at 2PM and will run until approximately 8PM. We’re scheduling 12 students an hour in two different groups: 4th-7th grade and 8th-12th grade.
Please check our REHEARSAL SCHEDULE (as of September 12) before signing up for a slot. It’s vital that cast members have minimal conflicts, especially in the two weeks leading up to our performances.
Please plan on arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled slot, and staying for approximately 90 minutes.
A short dance combination will be taught at auditions. Please wear clothing and shoes that are comfortable for dancing.
Hopefuls should prepare a short song (16 bars) that demonstrates vocal ability, range and strengths as a performer. Bring your music for our accompanist to play, and please memorize your song.
Good choices for songs are UPBEAT (“happy”) Broadway show tunes. You may sing a song from Frozen if you wish. The production staff requests that hopefuls DO NOT sing “Castle on a Cloud” from Les Miserables.
Actors interested in the following roles should be prepared to sing one of the character’s songs:
ELSA: “Let It Go” or “Dangerous to Dream”
ANNA: “For the First Time in Forever”
CALLBACKS for lead and supporting roles will happen on Monday, September 23 from 6-9PM.
THERE IS NO COST TO AUDITION. If cast, participants will need to become members of ETC ($35R/$40NR) through Upper Dublin Township’s Parks and Recreation Department.
