Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to help with our shows! We are very proud to be an all-volunteer, community theatre and everything we do depends on volunteers with different talents, interests, skills, passions, personalities and backgrounds.

Publicity & Marketing
Word of mouth is our best advertising! You can become a voice for Everybody’s Theater Company by helping us get the word out to others. Volunteers serve on our marketing and publicity committees and work on increasing the public’s awareness of who we are and what we offer to residents in the area.

Front of the House
If you enjoy meeting and greeting people, the front of the house is a great place to be! Working the entrance door on performance nights is an important role;  selling tickets is another option. Ushers are needed to guide patrons into the auditorium. The concession stand is also staffed with volunteers who sell water and snacks during each show’s intermissions.

Backstage and Technical Crew
Working as a backstage crew member is a wonderful way to get a feel for the off-stage requirements necessary for a successful show. Crew members, under the direction of the Stage Manager, are responsible for set changes, assisting actors with costume changes, organizing props, facilitating special effects, and more. Considered part of the backstage crew, the technical volunteers consist of lighting and sound designers, and tech board operators. Our tech booth is the perfect place for anyone that loves technical equipment and computers
