Urinetown, the Musical is a wickedly witty, high-energy, fast-paced romp just as relevant today as when it opened in 2001.  The Tony Award-winning score nods to the Golden Age of musicals while providing a fresh perspective on one of America’s greatest art form.

Once in a while, a show comes along that warms your heart and restores your faith in humanity.

This is not that show.

 Everybody’s Theater Company is looking to cast performers with strong singing and acting skills, who can move or dance well, in our production of Urinetown. 

Auditions are open to performers ages 18 and up. 

Everybody’s Theater Company values diversity in our community and on our stages. We endeavor to make our productions inclusive.

For Urinetown, we are seeking a cast ages 18 and older, disabled and non-disabled, of all body types, genders, races, and ethnicities.  

Audition Dates

Vocal Auditions are:
Sunday, March 10 from 2:00 to 6:30PM

Dance Auditions are:
Monday, March 11 from 7:30-9:00PM

Hopefuls must be available for both audition sessions. 

Callbacks will be Tuesday, March 12 from 6:30-9:00PM

FOR AUDITIONS

Hopefuls should prepare:

• 32 bars of a Broadway song that not only shows a strong vocal ability, but also demonstrates strong acting skills. We’re recommending choosing a strong character piece. Hopefuls may perform a song from Urinetown if they wish.

Hopefuls must bring a paper copy of the music for their song in the correct key. Your paper copy of the music must lay flat on the music stand for our accompanist (loose pages, not bound copies).

March 4 UPDATE: Hopefuls registering will after 10:00AM on March 4th will receive the times and locations for auditions via email on FRIDAY, March 8. 

There is no cost to audition.

Everybody’s Theater Company is a non-union, nonprofit community theater.

Once cast, performers who are not already members will join for the 2023-2024 season. ($35)
