Broadway Royalty will feature Broadway numbers sung by or about members of the nobility. You’ll find a list of recommended musicals and songs here.

We are looking for strong, UPBEAT pieces from all genres of musical theater, including light operettas. Your selection should showcase your vocal range, acting ability, and personality. 

Solos, duets, and small groups are welcome to audition. Hopefuls may audition with ONE solo and another number, but no more than two songs. (1 solo and 1 duet, OR 1 solo and one group number, NOT 2 solos).

Please prepare 32 bars of a Broadway song that fits our cabaret theme of ROYALTY for your audition – but be prepared to sing the entire number.

You must bring a paper copy of the music for your song in the correct key. Your paper copy of the music must lay flat on the music stand for our accompanist (loose pages, not bound copies). You will not be able to sing a cappella or with a track for your audition. 

Hopefuls must register in advance for audition slots using this form. 

Rehearsal Information:

Performers must be able to make both performances:

Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026 

CALL at 6:00PM; CURTAIN at 7:30PM

And a soundcheck on Friday, October 23 – 3:00-6:45PM  

 

If you cannot make BOTH performances, we will not be able to cast you.

 

Cabaret rehearsals are on the following dates. 

Performers will sign up for:

ONE REHEARSAL on ONE of the following dates: 

9/28, 9/30, 10/5, 10/7, 10/12, 10/14 

 

And possibly a SECOND REHEARSAL (if needed) on either: 

10/19, 10/21

Rehearsals will occur between 6:00-8:30PM at the ETC Studio.
