Funerals often bring out the best and worst in people, both in what is said and what is not. In the midst of their grief, two pairs of sisters from two different generations confront a family secret. Julie Zaffarano’s Kentucky Lemonade, was an O’Neill National Playwrights Conference semifinalist.

ETC also produced Julie’s ten-minute play Turkey Baby as part of their 2018 New Works…Spring Forth showcase. Julie wrote 2019’s Murder at the Sin City Rest Home especially for ETC’s pool of experienced performers.
