OUR AMAZING CAST

ANNE TEAK (Mina Harker) needs no introduction, having graced the PoS Players’ stages since 1982. Her recent leading roles include HEIDI in Ingenue of the Alps, MACIE CLUE in Teen Detective: Mystery at the Soda Fountain, and ROSALINE in Romeo Wanted Me Instead. She has won over 30 Skitty Awards. Anne is pleased to bring her beauty, fame, and considerable talents to this spectacular production. She’d like to thank the little people, whom she loves, for their adoration and support.

JAY JAY (Jonathan Harker) is a man amongst men, a star amongst stars, and a proud front-page recipient of the Montgomery newspaper. Paving his own way to Broadway, Jay is delighted to be making his grandiose appearance next to this wonderfully inflated cast. He would like to thank his mother for dragging him to the audition day and his wonderful girlfriend for keeping him sane through rehearsals.

JOHNNY WALKER (Vlad Dracula) is thrilled to be back on stage performing in the iconic role of Count Dracula. Johnny is a famous Shakespearean actor (Romeo Wanted Me Instead). He loves performing for all his adoring fans…..especially the ladies! So many have been messaging Johnny constantly since his successful career began so many years ago. He’s ready for his screaming admirers and all of their love as he acts, sings and dances in this fabulous show. He knows this will be the performance of a lifetime!

DAWG WOOD (Renfield) is excited to return to the stage, following his award-winning performance as the lead tree (MAY PELL) in the 2002 production of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, which earned him the ‘Student of the Week’ award at C.C.A. Baldi School. He wishes to thank his uncle Al Yankovic for his inspiration, as well as director Dolly Wood, who has been like a sister to him. When not entrancing audiences with his arboreal talents, Dawg is a Bro Brigade specialist-in-training at Sportzballz Unlimited.

CARRIE OAKEY (UNDERSTUDY) is thrilled to sink her teeth into this fangtastic production! A graduate of Commonwealth Beauty School, Carrie is passionate about all things glam—hair, makeup, facials, fashion, and, of course, herself. Credits include Illegally Ginger (ZELLE, Understudy), Pretty and the Pest (PRELLE, Understudy), and Lease (LELE, Understudy). And yes, “Understudy” stands for Underrated Star! She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoys being the star of it!

DEE ZAZTER (LUCY WESTERNA) is an up-and-coming actress new to the Fort Washington area. Her talent shines through even in an understudy role. She’s so excited to debut with the Piece of Skit Players. Previously seen in productions at PennUltimate! High School, Pennscreek Secondary, Penniesbank Prep, and Penn’s Dog Training Academy, Dee wants to thank all her adoring fans and supporters who have encouraged her to step into the spotlight where she belongs.

DINAH SOAR (HOSTESS) is ecstatic to be gracing the stage tonight at the fundraiser and sneak peek for our musical version of Dracula. Our hostess has a flair for the dramatic and an unyielding belief that she is destined for stardom. A fixture in the local theater scene for years, Dinah remains undeterred despite being overlooked for leading roles more times than she can count, Her most cherished missedopportunity was the role of Hooverville-ite #3 in the musical Annie – a part she felt she was born to play, and one that she still performs in her living room to this day.
OUR TERRIFIC PRODUCTION TEAM

GALE FORCE (PRODUCER) has produced community, regional and professional theatre for the last 35 years. Several of Gale’s regional productions have made it to the Big Apple*, including The Great British Baking Musical, Never Buy a Vowel: The Wheel of Fortune Musical and Schindler’s List: A Musical Comedy. Gale is also an occasional performer, having played Bert Healy in 17 productions of Annie (14 times with Piece of Skit Players). Gale dedicates this show to his cats, Grizabella, Bustopher Jones, and Rumpleteazer.
*Editor’s Clarification: “The Big Apple” is the name of the wedding venue at our local orchard, MacIntosh’s Nursery.

CANDY BAR (COMPOSER & ARRANGER) is sooo very excited to compose and direct the music for this Fang-Tastic show! Candy comes from a long line of theatrical folk; her father – N.R.G. Bar – and her Gran – Ola Bar – both spent years in the underground Poconos Vaudeville circuit. You may have childhood memories of Candy from her local public access show Sweet Candy’s Musical Treats Hour which ran from 1985 to 1998. Candy says: It is so sweet to work with such a talented group. She believes the show is something that you can really sink your teeth into! Fangs-A-Lot!!

LOU ZAR (PLAYWRIGHT) is plotting his BIG comeback after losing a third appeal in his latest plagiarism suit (over “Private Pepper’s Only Hearts Pub Band”). This musical affords him the opportunity to collaborate with his lost love, the infuriatingly alluring…Candy Bar! Lou is sure that a new, ORIGINAL song will win her back – and YOU can help! Vote for one- is it: “Forget Yesterday, Don’t Let it Be The End, Don’t Let Me Down, ’cause All You Need is All My Loving” – or – “Ooh Baby Baby, I Heard It Through the Grapevine that You Want to be My Girl, so Stop in the Name of Love- ’cause I Ain’t too Proud to Beg”.*
*Editor’s Note to IP holders: Our lawyer says we are not liable for any of this. SUE LOU.

DOLLY WOOD (DIRECTOR) got her theatrical start in the 6-month internship program at Ms. Parton’s Pigeon Forge theme park. She received top honors in the “D. P. Accent Emulation” course and certifications in team building and bedazzling. Dancing in the chorus of the Dollywood Musical Revue sparked her love of the stage and the actors that inhabit it. She triple-threatened her way through 42 musicals before she fell in love with directing. Dolly found a niche in musical adaptations of classic horror stories – making scary stories accessible to all! Directing credits include: The Jekyll and Hyde Follies, Frankenstein Goes to Broadway, and the smash hit, The Mummy All Wrapped up in Double Four Time. She thanks her wonderful cast and crew for being so kind and accepting – Break a Fang!

HELEN BACH (COSTUMER) has had a long and storied career as an internationally-known costumer with a recent European turn designing in London, Paris and Stockholm.* While there, she may have purchased a gnome (or 4) to add to her collection. Helen returned to the States to spend time with family. She’s thrilled that she was available to be the one – and only – costumer for this wonderful production with the Piece of Skit Players. During tonight’s show, you will see how her personal style and flair directly impact her choices for our cast. She thanks her family and friends for their ongoing support.
*Editor’s Note: Helen helped a group of Disney Bounders visiting EPCOT’S World Showcase choose their outfits; she has been mistakenly calling the Norway Pavilion “Stockholm.”

PAIGE TURNER (STAGE MANAGER) is pleased to bring over 30 years of experience in theater production to Piece of Skit Players. With a BFA in Stage Management from the University of College Institutes, she has plied her trade at regional theaters in 47 of the 50 states. Recent productions have included The Barbarous Barber, Phone H for Homicidal, and Cyanide and Flour Sack Calico. A proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association, Paige is the former chair of the Stage Weapons Safety Committee.
